However, mediations may be held at counsel's office under appropriate circumstances including full agreement by Katherine, the parties, and counsel. Fee The per diem fee depends on a number of factors (e.g., the nature of the case, number of parties, including whether that matter is a single plaintiff or representative action). Case convening, including scheduling and logistics, is included in the fee. The fee also includes Katherine’s intensive preparation which involves careful and thoughtful reading and analysis of the parties’ briefs and individual pre-mediation conference calls with lead mediation counsel for each party, as well as the mediation day and reasonable post-mediation telephonic or email follow-up, as necessary. Half-day mediations are offered on a limited basis. Fees for time spent after the mediation may be charged. She will consider these requests on a case by case basis. Fees for time spent after the mediation are charged at an hourly rate of $800. As stated above, reasonable follow-up is included in the per diem rate. If additional fees are incurred, a supplemental invoice will be provided which is due and payable upon receipt.
